need info on tugela mouth

Hi all myself and the fam have booked ourselves into Tugela Mouth Resort for 10 days in mid june and was wandering what the security situation is there , and then i was also wandering what the fishing is like there over that period, if any of you have been there and have any info for me it would be much appreciated

The security was quite jacked up when I was there last but that was about 2 years ago ,there was working electric fencing right round the resort and gaurds doing the rounds ,but still be careful on the beach though and try not go alone ,the fishing is also quite good ,there's some great kob down there, it was quite a nice experience, hope you guys enjoy it!

shot sure we wil ,l was just curious to hear cause we want to hit the mouth after dark to try for a couple of salmon and a taxman or two

Same day we arrived there some provincial guys hooked a huge raggie landed,tagged and released ,I think the photos are up at reception ,so you'll be having fun if you target the taxman as well .Tight lines bud!

Back in the day when there were still only eight planets my dad took me and my two brothers stealth camping there. Must've been late 70s. We camped, braaied and just had a good time. Back then the biggest risk was the monkeys.
