I do like 9.3 where 1 classifier can apply to a number of divisions if equipment is applicable in various divisions. So SSP and ESP with 1 classifier

You may like 8.2.7.2 - a very good idea imo for club shoots.

Hell yeah. I popped in here to mention that. Wicked. I hope more people take them up on it and future versions will include it more directly. I'm still a little bummed about the WML restrictions, but one step at a time I guess.

    Lets get shootin!

Crafty, no. The BUG is a separate competition to the main stream IDPA strings. BUT! Using the same rule Khumba quoted earlier at Tier 1 (club level) you can shoot your .380ACP in the main strings, but you can't compete for places. Also read rule 8.1.4 for the details on how many spare mags you can carry if you are below division capacity.

It'll be a bit of a hodge podge with you with a .380ACP and me with a RDS on the gun, but we won't be competing directly, or even at all, just taking part in a sanctioned match.

I am very glad they took out the proposed finger call rule which required 4 calls for a DQ.

As for the rest there does not seem to be anything earth shattering.

I agree - we/SADPA proposed that the initial 4 step process be scrapped and suggested inline with the current new and finalised rule book. 1st Call = PE, 2dn Call = DQ.

My only goal for wanting to be in something like idpa is simply to learn to shoot straight while adrenalin flows.
So I will look into this. Thanks!
