    Default Wingshooting photos

A thread where we can post some general wingshooting photos, and daydream of the weekend.

Myself in a hide next to a large dam in the Freestate, with some Yellow billed Duck decoys, waiting for sundown.

Icy -5'C mornings, with mist coming off the dam, and the dogs water bowls frozen.

Looking for quail in short grass.

    My pup on some greywing.

The first bird my pup pointed and I managed to shoot.

A good male Swainsons Francolin, I prefer the name Francolin over Spurfowl.

Excellent. Those Yellow billed duck make a tasty game bird pie.

I was in Kruger Park two weekends ago and saw Natal Francolin with chicks, strange.

Me too. Was in the Lower Sabie/ Pretoriuskop region. Anyway, nice thread and nice pictures guys, keep'em coming I only have two pics. But have some video. I wore one of those shades with the vid-cam. I'll try and post it, but it may not be as spectalur or approving to seasoned Wingshooters.
