Season 1 was made by a different production film. Season 2 onwards is a BritAm JV so in the USA season 2 is called season 1. Season 3 and 4 (by actual not American counts) feature plenty of local shooters as extras and trainers etc

nope i read that the main actor was picking it up with some other financial backing and that they were going to begin shooting, i will find the link and post it here, as i was also teary eyed when i heard there were not going to be any more seasons, so this put a smile on my face, let me find it and post it, as Arnie said, Ill be back...

season1 was british made;
season2-4 was US made and a far higher budget.

usually only the american season2+ gets listed, the UK season1 ignored... "didnt exist"
if i were to bet money, you'd find "strike back UK season1"
and "strike back US season1-3".
3 being the one airing now. us collectors would still label it as season4.

on another note, i read up damn seems that the unit has officially been plugged, the article i read said that the main actor Dennis Haysbert and some other financial backers were lobbying and had got it right to begin shooting, i see that the entire season was pre-conceived and ready to go, i guess since reading my article things changed again, sorry guys...

I also thought that the dstv season 1 was the 1st season until I found the British season 1 with the main character being Jack Porter, I thinks. Season 2, (dstv season 1), starts with Porter being executed.
