I enjoy shooting the rifle, it is heavy and the stock has little drop at the comb and it fits me well.
From the bench recoil is apparent but a firm hold, good contact with the shoulder and a recoil pad make it quite manageable. I have never had to fire more than 15 rounds in a bench session but imagine it could become a bit grim. Off hand shooting it is fine provided you lean in and shoulder it firmly.
Hunting I find that I focus on the game and the shot and do not noticed the recoil at all but I have to concede that I cannot watch the fall of the shot.
