The gap between 1st and 2nd overall is a lot smaller than it was last year. For me the single most impressive time on that list is Jerry Miculek's...that time with a wheelgun is just insane!

Well done to Bob though...he is definitely still the (distinguished) master of this game.

Oh, and Randi is one super chick...3rd in SSP MA...definitely showed the boys how it's done...wow!

Glen Shelby in CDP is also a monster. Getting closer and closer to the SSP times despite having to do the extra mag changes and the increased recoil. Also shot 2 points less down than Bob Vogel.

Nils Jonasson in ESP was very close to Bob's time as well, but got DQ'ed for a mag well that didn't quite fit in the official box. He did go on to win the USPSA Limited Nationals over the last 3 days and beat Bob quite convincingly there.

Well done to Vogel for yet another win though! I really hope we see Randi Rogers here for the Africa Champs. I don't mind getting beat by a girl :)

Yip, i think guys are catching him, which is good for the sport.

Has the number of distinguished master increased or is it just me?

If I compare Hans Silbitzer's time with what he got at Champs the local MA's aren't that far off the boys on that side

The high international was 277 and another guy shooting SSP MA was 279 (89) and he has some vids on youtube. Didnt seem that fast to me. Definitely doable.

I would think a good target for a RSA MA shooter would be top 20 overall.

I read on Bob's facebook feed that the guy that won ESP had a major stoppage, so the scores would have been closer if not for that.

Kudos to JerryMiculek, the man is a machine.
