Beagle potential ?

Good day Apoc, how is it going with your Beagle?


We got female Beagle pup at 9 weeks old. Binx is now 15 weeks and she is great. We train her daily, and reward her with small pieces of dry wors, lucky dog! I have also read up all that I can, and was also concerned about the barking and running off while in the field. She does have a peculiar bark, but tends to stay close. Maybe this will change once she gets older and bolder. She enjoys playing with the German Shorthaired Pointer, Boerboel, and Ridgebacks. She is also not bothered by gunshots. We take her for walks on the farm, and can notice that she has a very strong nose. I hope to track buck, francolin, and guinea fowl with her. Hereunder some photos of her at 9 weeks.

My dad got a beagle about a year and a half ago! We took the dog wingshooting with us from young, for a start she used to just lie there and watch the pointers run up and down retrieving birds, one day the beagle sat up and realised that this looks like fun, she now also runs up and down fetching birds, she is very gentle with the birds aswell , awesome little dogs
