    Thanks, nice link. I've often wondered about the whole concept of 'accuracy uber alles', with absolutely no holds barred, and what it would take to achieve it. A great way to advance the science, regardless of how impractical it is for regular shooters.

    Bullet makers like Nosler, Hornady, Sierra et al. use rifles like that to test balistics of their bullets.

    The one I saw had quick change barrels. The breech wasn't a traditional bolt action, it looked and operated like a German 88 anti tank gun.
    It had a sliding breech block. They had several barrels of different lengths for each caliber. Most of the barrels were 3 to 4 inches in diameter. They probably had different rifling twist rates too.
