Quad rail forend on my Saiga M3

I picked up a Ncstar quadrail forend (part MAK4R) for my Saiga. It says for romanian variants but it fits just fine. I had a minor problem initially when I bolted it on and tightened it down- the piston was sticking a bit due to a very slight flexing of the gas tube. I used a thin metal shim between the lower handguard retainer and the gas tube to solve the problem. Thanks to youtube I learned how to remove the gastube, lower handguard and the upper guard from the gastube.

I know some consider Ncstar to be cheap junk or airsoft gear, but so far I've been satisfied with their stuff. The scope mount and scope are also Ncstar

I’ve bought several of their products and they have been making an effort to branch away just from airsoft gear. Their rails, rings and fittings are all top notch and are very well-priced.

Shit I like that. I'm gonna have to look into it. I'm wanting an MI-SS rail, but this looks like it'll do.

As for "NC STAR", hey my Saiga is a range toy, not something that needs to survive an IED.
