License card printing
Whoooo Hooo after 18 weeks of waiting and waiting and waiting my license has been approved.
Now I would like to know how long will the waiting be for the card to be printed I am from Durban and Greenside DFO.

think its durban north.
card printing is done at provincial level. my last card took about 10 days to get to my DFO after I got the approval sms

If the OP is referring to Greenwood Park...good luck...not the fastest DFO.

Yes its greenwood park in durban north......and yes this DFO Makhanya is KAK slow he actually irritates the living Crap out of me.
Does everyone get an approval sms? I did'nt just phoned CFR on Saturday and said it was approved on the 07/11.
Prodigal can I not pick up from provincial?

No, I get no text's for applications submitted at Greenwood, although texts for the cards being ready for collection are usually sent.
You are not allowed to collect from provincial unfortunately.
Pop in there today and ask them if your card is there. I bumped into W/O Makhanya on the 12th floor at Provincial HQ on Friday, around 13h20. He may have collected cards while he was there. KZN cards are printing fairly quickly.

Yes, I have a story of my own aswell with him will be doing my next application via Durban north and not Greenwood Park

i did my comp via Durban North DFO, never again.
my file sat on his desk for 2 months till the "@DFO sms"....useless.
i went to GWPark after that, 1 further comp and 7 lic's all came through.
sure, Makhanya make mistakes.....but they can be corrected on the system and at least all apps were received @ Provincial within a few days.
once approved, i got all my cards within a day or 2, unless the printer is down or something.
