How long must I wait to pick up my card at DFO?

Firearm license was approved on the 5 november so how long must I wait to get my firearm license card?

It really is luck of the draw.

It can be anything from a few days to 4 weeks.

I'm sure someone who recently went through this will chime in as well.

My DFO always sends me an SMS when it is ready for collection.

Lush..patience is the secret. Although, considering that it's only 1 weeks since approval, I'd say you still in eary stages of getting "over excited" My 223 card took 5 weeks to reach me and my 45 was approved on the 28th of Oct. Still no sign of the card...
I had a mate do a print out of my licenses..

Phone and ask if its been printed and sent to provincial. Find out from DFO when he will be picking cards up from provincial.

According to some of our threads and posts, people wait up to 4 weeks. Usually it takes a little over two weeks to get the card printed. It takes a week or to for the card to be available at your local DFO.

I got my card printed and delivered less than a week after approval, about two months ago. Call your DFO and find out if they have your card yet. Don't be an ass when calling, but just say you haven't received any SMS's and you were wondering if it's not there somewhere.

I waited 6weeks for them to print my card. I got fed up and eventually spoke to the printing department at cfr. They said that it has been way to long and the bloke requested a re-print right there and then. 5 days later my card is at provincial and my DFO will be picking them up on thursday.

I had to wait 3 weeks for DFO to collect my card from provincial. Was agony.

I waited 1 day for my card. My licence was approved on a Tuesday, picked up card on a Thursday morning.

It is all luck.
