Re: On shaving with a cutthroat
I bought a used Swaty on ebay. I was not able (at the time) to find anything locally.

Re: On shaving with a cutthroat
Thanks, Was the shipping arrangement simple enough?
The stories I've read concerning imports (Brownells, Ebay, Amazon) have kept me at bay thus far.

Re: On shaving with a cutthroat
The fine stones (600 & 1000 grit) of a standard Lansky set work well.
The stones are important but I found that a coarse strop does wonders to maintain a sharp edge.
