Its strange how they operate. I have used the road a couple of times and never received any communication. My wife on the other hand did not use the road at all and receives a new invoice almost every month for a car she does not own.

Funny how now, after all this time, they have consulted financial experts (at further great expense) who have advised them that the system is unworkable in it's present form. It seems the only people who benefitted from this monstrous fuckup, are the suppliers of the kit, and the big boys who got the commission cheques.

Do you think there were no underhand benefits paid to persons unknown to make this whole thing fly ?

I personally very much suspect that once the dosh leaves the country and is handed over to Kapsch, that hefty "commissions" are paid to the SA enablers. No proof, of course, but given the way SA operates, it seems like a reasonable assumption...

Just heard Ramaphosa say, regarding the eToll fees, that licence renewals will now be linked to eTolls. So all those okes that refuse to pay will now be unable to renew their vehicles licences or driving licences unless their eToll account is settled.

A bit of a game changer I reckon.

Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2
