Sometimes you have to do it yourself, like what happened with me with my SBR: I needed some room for a barrel installed front sight.




After some Dremel and spray paint it looks just fine.

I'd hate to have to do that, but the thought definitely crossed my mind!
There are 8inch long forends produced, but locally no one seems to bring them in unless on special pre-order which I may end up doing

If you measure well and take your time that really wouldn't be a challenging job. Unless of course you absolutely have to match the anodised finish.

Eish, at that price, I'd rather cut it off with a grinder and send it for cerakoting after cleaning up all the rough edges

Not a great pic but my Ruger MPR, 18 inch barrel, Strike Eagle 1-8x24 and Sonic suppressor, send 60g v-max’s down range at 3050fps.
