Being followed form the bank makes for an easy target. By the time they get to where ever they were going they have forgotten about the bank.

My contention is that most of these robberies can be linked to inside info given to the robbers. Withdrawing large amounts of cash need arrangements with the bank. That info is so easy to send via SMS or What's App. I just make sure I get a cut of the deal. Our Zumpies is showing everybody how to enrich yourself - any which way you can - every new Pres will try the same. This is attitude is prevalent and shows in our crime stats.

Banks are not interested in who sees you leaving the bulk teller, so long as the stickup happens outside their premises, thats a SAPS problem.
The best way to get action out of corporates is to name and shame IMHO

If you're moving large amounts of money by hand, first prize would be to have the professionals handle it (i.e. private security), second prize would be to use some kind of surprize tactics in getting from point A to B and lastly would be to be well armed, wearing kevlar and keeping your eyes open.

You are at your most vunerable at the moment of "transition". Example how many people are hyper vigilant at the teller but the moment they walk away and open the car they relax because they "made it".

so businesses we frequent are responsible for our personal security? I assume you are going to subsidise this for us? crime is a syptom of the society we live in and you cannot rely on others to protect you. ne vigilant be prepared and dont fall into the something for nothing mindset!
