Vektor SP1 sights

I recently bought a SP1 - it still has the standard fixed sights.
For some reason I am struggling to place rounds in the target centre. However, when I shoot with a Glock I hardly have to aim to hit bullseye! Admittedly, the Glock is supereasy to shoot...
Here's my question(s): Should I invest in other sights or should I just spend more time on the range?
Also, I would like to add a laser sight - good or bad idea? The gun is mainly used for home/self defence.

Div, elaborate on the hits pls (e.g. all to left/right or high/low side, all over the place, etc)? Have you tried adjusting the rear sight if a left/right problem? Have you tried a higher/lower front sight if a high/low problem? In the early years of my SP2 I "wasted" plenty time/money going the Vektor Adjustable rear sight route (i.e. could go up/down as well) just to eventually end up with the original rear sight and a lower front sight. When I bought a Vektor SP1 General's and thereafter a SP1, I sorted the sight way quicker than with the SP2...

I had a few issues with accuracy initially with my SP1. I had a trigger job done and I painted the front sight. It's perfect now.

Fitting a laser or WML is going to be an issue as the pistol doesn't have a rail.
