I shoot a 14.5 inch basic military model and have encountered no problems at all. It shoots smooth and accurate, everytime.

I'm a total noob to the AR scene ( And posting for that matter :-) )... I am looking for any opinions or thoughts on the ADC line of rifles. Specifically the ADC 397 18" model... I just wanted to check if these rifles are good or did I just invest in a dud..I looked at other rifles such as the Ruger SR556, M&P and DPMS but the ADC just felt like it fitted me better and to be honest most AR's seem to be pretty similar so went with what I liked.... the gun will be used mainly for IDPA DMG and range plinking...

I checked dark and dingy corners of the web but honestly cannot find much on the rifles in a language that I can actually understand... It seems that only Americans comment and they only purchase American made stuff... Any help or technical information would really be appreciated...

Hi I am in the exact same boat you were in I'm looking as well at buying a ADC and also a newbie in the AR scene I agree with you the ADC for me also feels just right but so hard to find any info or reviews. Did you receive your ADC yet plz share your experience thx

They are built on a semi custom basis, and mostly specifically for competition.
They are top quality guns with decent accuracy and good reliability. Probably better suited for IDPA than the Ruger, which is also a beautiful gun.

Hey Chaps...

I actually went ahead and got one of those ADC bad boys...
I took some time to try and write a proper technical review with specification and some information to hopefully assist you with the decision making process.

I tried to add some very rare high res pics of the internals in the doc for you but doc size was way too big

BTW, I've seen 2 castle nuts come loose, so it does happen and it can cause a malfunction. Keep an eye on that.
