Re: About the Hunt South Africa Forum
I see on The Hunt forum that the edit option to edit your posts does not expire, or only expires after a long period of time where on GS after a few hours the post edit option expires. I can still edit a post from two days ago on the hunt, was it designed like this or just something over looked? (I prefer that after a certain time it expires like on GS).

Re: About the Hunt South Africa Forum
Hi Craig. I have now kept an eye on it and I don't think the email notifications are working. I so hope the problem is not on my side...

Re: About the Hunt South Africa Forum
I'll check out the email setting again. The email function is working, but maybe not the notification part.

Re: About the Hunt South Africa Forum
The way I see it, a forum is a living thing. Moody at times, spontaneous and fun at times. It is the users/members that gives it voice.
But like all things in life, the only constant is change. I remember a time when we nearly had a 2nd Boer/British war here. Tempers eventually cooled and we could all focus on Oscar again.
Each to his own. If you don't like it here, there are other forums which might suit you better. I quite like the characters here. Sometimes they even make sense :) I love hunting and hunting rifles, and find GS more than adequate for that. Love sport shooting, and I don't think you'll find a better forum on the subject.
