    Default INFORCE WMLx 500 lumen.

Just received my pre-production demo WMLx for Huntex.

Inforce is in process of final shoot testing on production models so our shipment will not be in time for Huntex but I have just received my pre-prodcution demo model to exhibit at Huntex.

The WMLx is slightly (a little more than one CR123 battery length) longer than the WML and the head and lens and reflector is slightly larger.

Interesting is the lever switch on the side of the light body that enables the user to choose between Momentary only mode or Constant/Momentary/Strobe setting. The strobe can also be deactivated completely if needed.

I will check the beam tonight but prelim in shop lighting shows a definite spot beam with some nice usable peripheral spread . It seems as if it is going to be an excellent thrower and outdoor rifle light.

Here are some phone pics (not to good). I will do better pics later and also get a pic or 2 with the light mounted on a rifle.

I am happy to selflessly volunteer to assist with a five year test on this product.

    Because , science!

That's a good price. I am looking at getting a WML and when I saw the prices of Surefire's I almost feinted. I can almost buy a pistol for the price of one of those! Me thinks I'll be getting one. Especially as it's 500 lumens. The other 200 lumen lights don't phase me much. Are there any in FDE/Desert Tan in the shipment you guys are expecting..?

Gad! It's like they screwed an A2 flash hider on to the old model!

Can't wait for the report and pics.

On body colours - yes we have Black and FDE on the order. The FDE is similar to the APL FDE and not like the lighter cloured Sand WMLs we had.

I checked out WMLx tonight in the street and compared it to the 300 Ultra. Except for a difference in hue (the WMLx seems to me to have a "warmer" tint in hue than the brilliant white of the Ultra) WMLx is very similar in approximate 100m+ distance performance.

Closer the WMLx throws a more definate spot with excellent peripheral light.

I do not have the photographic equipment to do beamshots but I am sure of the light forums will have that up soon.
