Dealers with stock of M&P Shield

Looking for a Shield for the wife. Which of your dealers up in the JHB/Pta area should I try?

As far as I'm aware, both official S&W importers are (still) waiting for their Shield orders to come in. MRST has a demo Shield (Which they refuse to sell for some odd reason) if you want to go handle one in person.

Hesitant to commit to an order. The wife must first test it out and decide how she feels i.e.: test fire etc. There's a couple other options on her list.

i have a shield, and they are really awesome, i compared mine to a Glock 26, Ruger LC9, Sig P290RS and a S&W CS9. The shield is the best by far, okay well the Glock 26 Gen4 is pretty sweet as well, but seeing it is not a single stack not apples with apples, i am still wanting to get a Springfield XDS, Walther PPS, Sig P224SAS and one or two others, but nothing is available in Sa at the moment.

What i want to say is don't discount the Shield, they are as awesome as most say they are...

Indeed. Wife shoots the M&P compact pretty well but won't carry it. I'm hoping that the single stack will make the Shield a better carry option.

Get on the list anyway. I can guarantee you there will be enough people waiting to take it off your hands when stock comes and you don't want one anymore.
