Quick Access Magnetic Holster
This is a "How to" to make a magnetic type holster / device. Looks quiet handy.

If suddenly faced with a surprise home-invasion (or a robbery at your business), most firearm owners understand the importance of having your firearm available at a moments notice. But constantly carrying it on your person while lounging around the house isn’t comfortable or practical and leaving it out in the open is — for obvious reasons — not a wise thing to do. To rectify this, there have been a number of manufacturers that have come up with magnetic-type holsters that you can install in strategic, concealed parts of your home (or business) allowing you to place your firearm in whatever room you happen to be in at the time.Last edited by ady; 15-04-2014 at 14:27.

Solution to a non-existent problem: mainly because I'm calling BS on this bit:
"But constantly carrying it on your person while lounging around the house isn’t comfortable or practical"

Tactical Intelligence....
How is is tactically intelligent to leave your handgun stuck under a table or something somewhere, and not have it where you happen to be yourself?
Repeat after me: "A Glock is NOT a fridge magnet!"

Re: Quick Access Magnetic Holster
Question from the unwise: does the magnet have an effect on the internals of the firearm, particularly after extended usage of this device?

Re: Quick Access Magnetic Holster
Well not that i would ever call my Glock a fridge magnet! But the bed side storage plan can work for me! I like the idea!

Re: Quick Access Magnetic Holster
Old PC desktop Harddrives contain strong magnets that you can use as well. Putting a magnet on each end of the "Mounting" surface would allow you to quickly use your Glock as a fridge magnet. Or as per link you kan attach it permanently on one side. Works well to quickly hide the FA when junmping in the shower. Also instead of attaching firearm directly, a cheap holster with the metal clips works well.
