    Default A beautiful shot…

So, today the girlfriend and I went shooting, but… one of my other expensive hobbies being photography, i decided to try and mix the 2 up a bit…SAFELY!
I quite like the results…one of the photos being something i have had in my minds eye ever since i bought my firearm.
    Enjoy!

And the following 2 shots just blowing my mind, same photo one is just a tight crop:

That last photo is really cool! I wonder if it is the piece of the heated bullet that is making that line?

I believe its infact the entire projectile making a light trail like a car's lights on a long projectile hehehe. I did this with a flash and a very fast shutter speed so it caught the light reflecting back hehehe.

How'd you get the projectile line and the pistol (including the top) frozen at 1/500?

Brilliant. Have you got a revolver that you down load a little and try that last shot again.

With the flash springer. In highspeed it fires before closing the shutter thus blurring the light reflected back. I just managed to press the button at the right time. This is the only shot out of 200 that i actually got this right. Check the shot below, shot at last week's steel challenge… look closely you will see a .40 projectile.
