Re: NORINCO 7.62x51 Ammunition - 500 Round Bulk Tins
Exactly - so it is not really the fault of the ammo per se but rather a result of the ammo not being ideal for the twist.
I am not sying it is the most accurate ammo out there but we had reports (like a post on this thread) that says it is more accurate than SA milsurpl 7,62x51.

Re: NORINCO 7.62x51 Ammunition - 500 Round Bulk Tins
say a half MOA rifle with 1:10 twist.... what would you get ballparkwise with this stuff, would you guestimate?
1MOA, 2MOA....

Re: NORINCO 7.62x51 Ammunition - 500 Round Bulk Tins
I got 3-4 MOA in mine. Then again someone I spoke to a short while ago gets 0.5 MOA in his accuracy international .308. Not sure of twist rate..
But still every rifle differs. 147gr is too light for 1:10 twist regardless of good or bad rifle. I shoot 0.5 MOA with 168 and 185 grain. 150 or less and nada..

Re: NORINCO 7.62x51 Ammunition - 500 Round Bulk Tins
0.5 -> 4 MOA
wow ouch. but i understand, that weight is not ideal for that twist-rate. still, for general SADPA club shoots and plinking use, it's probably good enough? :)

It's more than enough for DMG shoots and such.

Re: NORINCO 7.62x51 Ammunition - 500 Round Bulk Tins
I'm no marksman, but I get about a 2inch (@100meters) grouping with my Ruger Scout rifle and I can shoot 50 rounds a day without breaking the bank.
