I've been sitting and thinking about buying a dedicated and sometime carry gun as I've been putting too many rounds through my carry gun. After considering all the options I found myself making an interesting choice today.

I went to buy a new G17 Gen4 at Camdix.

After speaking to my special squad friend Dickie I was convinced that this will be a great option. Mainly due to the amount of spares available and with the amount of SADPA I've been doing of late I didn't want to run into a situation where I had to stop shooting because something broke.

Hehehe. I did the same. Bought a 17 to spare my carry gun. I've since fallen in love with it and my carry gun sees almost no action.

Congrats, you'll soon see why everyone advises it. It simply is a great gun.

Good choice as a backup. Warrens, 2kg connector and gen3 trigger bar and your golden. I would have picked a 19, but then i'm biased
