Re: Quantum Carry kydex holsters
I think I need to post a picture with it on. The draw is straight down and straight up, no different from my others.
A very crude measurement on paper gives 5 degrees

Re: Quantum Carry kydex holsters
I have a quantum carry iwb with no cant and tuckable clip for my shield and overall I like the holster.
It is very comfy. Good retention(has a positive "click" when holstering). I like the quality and finish.
Only thing I don't like about the holster is the fact that there is about 1/4 inch of excess kydex at the muzzle end (I believe this is to accommodate the extra length of the tuckable clip). I would have liked it to be flush with the muzzle.
This extra bit of kydex prevents me from appendix carrying as it digs into me when sitting down.
I carry at the 2 o'clock position.

Re: Quantum Carry kydex holsters
OK, so I got my 'Covert' holster as I'm determined to go AIWB. At first I was disappointed. Seems to print a lot more than I expected. I then added a rubber heel insert to the bottom of the holster to tuck the muzzle in. That helped a bit. Still not confident that I won't get made though. I reckoned I must be doing something wrong. I came across a post that suggests that your belt can be 'too stiff', and that ideally, you use a slightly softer belt for AIWB. I've been using Daniels 1 inch Cobra for a couple of years now carrying strong side. I love the belt, best I've ever used. I decided to try a belt that I got off a forum member a while ago that's just sat in the cupboard. It's a Fusion Raptor belt. Still got the Cobra buckle, but a lot more pliable. I tried it, and it's perfect! Gun all but disappears! Seems that if the belt is too stiff, it can't pull the gun, especially the grip, in properly. It's like the 'claw' is not pushed in the way it should be. I did find a diagram on another forum that appeared to explain it pretty well. If anyone's interested, I'll try and find it.

Please find it, I find if my pants size is one size bigger it conceals much better than if it's 2 sizes bigger to accommodate spare mags.

Attachment 25271This would be with a softer belt
Attachment 25272And this, the stiffer belt.
There's also the horizontal stiffness that sort of makes the belt go round the claw and not push it towards the body as it's supposed to do.
