is it the gun or the shooter,do you need such a expensive gun to compete?
It is not just about IDPA.

SA is hardly the benchmark for 3Gun and Miltigun type shooting.

You will not see the top 3gun and Multigun shooters in the USA and Europe winning with a Norinco.

Do you need a Merc to drive around town when a Cherry can also get you to the mall?

Idpa doesn't really ask much of a rifle.

Somehow on GS a Chery is exactly the same as a Merc. Just the manufacturers aren't greedy , so they build "the exact same thing" for so much less money.

sounds like the taurus thread, where every pistol is the same, just some cost more than others for some reason ;)

So you're saying he might as well buy a Norinco? :P

When is someone going to bring in some Alpha Rails and some more well priced muzzle breaks?
Are TacShack still in with Troy, or has that not panned out?

So are you saying I.D.P.A is not as good as I.P.S.C.
The weapons are tested on 3 gun completion to prove reliability?

Nothing to do with better than. Has to do with lower round counts and closer distances. So less required from the gun.

What sport? There is no sport of "shooting" there are various shooting sports that require different gear.
