Then again, I'm glad my stupid moment for the day is gone now, can't afford to be stupid this afternoon. But no thread hijacking.

EDIT: Was reading your post in the context of the previous posters' which had draw time as the first time. It's clear I was wrong though.

How do you decrease time between being in a firing position, getting sight picture and pulling the trigger?

I can feel a pause between being fully extended, having sight picture and pulling the trigger. More dry fire with press out only?

Prep the trigger on the way out... take up the slack in the trigger to just before it breaks while you are pressing out. Sight picture, and then BLAM!

Starry doing some dry fire drills without the trigger pull. Keep dropping the par time. It will help you clean up the draw without doing a crappy trigger pull.

Par time : 3 Seconds, according to Bill Wilson himself

2 seconds is considered a solid par time for a good shooter.

    3 seconds is fairly sedentary.

Possibly for frequent shooters, but 3 seconds is still a par to aim for.

Admittedly if you look at what equipment you do it with, that time may change.
Shooting unconcealed off of a IPSC Speed Rig, and your competition pistol, may differ from concealment, shooting a 6 shot J-Frame cause that is what you carry daily.

Came very close today to doing a sub 2s Bill drill at 10m

And on another run, set my PB for splits

Guess I still need to work my draw time down

Ps. That is still with my plastic gun
