address change while awaiting licence

Hi, anyone got any advice for me? the man im renting my place from has passed away and i may need to move, this is the address that is on my licence application. confused0083

and also a significant amount of my motivation is based on residing at this address. and to top it off if i move it is most likely going to be to a new area that does not fall under the same police station! :'(

any suggestions?

I'll ask my DFO about it when I see him again, hope you get an answer before then.

My guess would be you don't do anything and after (HOPEFULLY) getting your licence inform the CFR of a change of address as you should do.

Damn, I should really remember about how the enter key works!

In my experience they do not get around to inspecting all the safes they should. If it does not happen a short while after the application it might never happen. (only from what I've seen so far)

That may be so, but my DFO also told me that should it ever become known that you don't have a safe (gun stolen, lost) you will be charged with lying on you application as well.

How's your app going so far, any news?

I don't really know. You should at least make sure your app gets registered in PTA. I'd call every two weeks until it arrives. After its been registered you can space you calling out much longer. My main worry is always to just make sure it gets into the system at least. After that you can't do anything else but wait. If its not in PTA, they can't process it and you wait for nothing.
