Hatsan Escort?
I noticed a nice looking folding stock pump action Hatsan Escort shottie that seems to be calling my credit card closer.
However, I cant seem to find much info / reviews on the web. The few comments that I did find were all good. Also searched this site with no results. Cannot find the exact model from the Hatsan (Turkish made) website.
Does anybody have an opinion on these? It looks like a no-nonsense well built tool. Not expensive either. I like the folding stock simply so that is easier to store, transport etc when compact.

Re: Hatsan Escort?
If anything like the air rifles they build, I would avoid it like the plague. Rather aim for a 2nd-hand 870 or even a Winchester ... same price, lots of info on the web and you know you are buying something that can shoot.

If it's the one with the stock that folds over the top, creating a carry handle, then it's a rather good gun.
We have a lady at our club with one and she has not had any trouble at all. I don't care for the stock at all but if compactness is a requirement then it's worth a 2nd look.
Give me a buzz and I'll put you in contact with her.

Re: Hatsan Escort?
Folding Stocks on shotguns are a sin. Guns are for shooting not storing.

Re: Hatsan Escort?
I saw a Hatsan 12G Semi Auto which was quite nice. I'm also not sure about the gun. They go for R 6k at the shop.
The sales guy told me they are brought in by African Outdoor Sports and re-branded as the Guerrilla 12G Semi Auto.

Re: Hatsan Escort?
Thanks for the input! @BigT: LOL. What if it needs 'storing' under a trench coat? :-)

Re: Hatsan Escort?
^^ or in the 'boot' of a Ferrari? Not that I have a trench coat or a Ferrari. Jokes aside, perhaps the Mossberg / Maverick is a more solid choice.
