Default Father shoots burgler in daugters room

"Our control room got a call in the early hours this morning. We responded to a non client in Venn Street. When we arrived we found that the home owner fatally wounded a suspect that was assaulting his daughter in her room. The suspects gained entrance through an open window. When he confronted the suspects the one fired shots at him. He returned fire fataly wounded the one suspect. The other one fled the scene."

Looks like the same incident, another report with more detail:
MBOMBELA – A burglary suspect was killed after allegedly attempting to rape his victim at a guesthouse in Mbombela.
Two suspects allegedly burgled the Jock’s guesthouse this morning.
One of the alleged burglars were fatally wounded, while the other suspect escaped.
The SAPS, Bossie’s Community Justice and High-Tech security are on the scene.

Frigging awesome. The Lowveldt is overdue some armed resistance considering the crime they have been suffering under. Outstanding.

Depending on his sense of self-preservation, he may not be stupid enough to try that house again. Especially since there are more than enough unarmed victims prime for the picking. Something I hope changes soon!
