    Thanks for the share.

    Very interesting.

    If I may ...

I would rather take the principle of what he is saying and apply it, but the way he is doing it is unnatural.

Rather do a natural draw to aim and dry fire that a few times and then slip in the live fires if you want to.

I tend to favour a more natural approach to my shooting ... but hey, that is only me.

I agree with the natural draw and fire.

Why not watch your hands when loading/unloading?

I don't see the use in learning your body to rack the slide on an empty gun like that. Tap-racks I can understand, but just racks...?

Because if you are watching your hands you are not watching the target/fight/BG.

    Erm...

How easy is it to miss a reload when you are not looking at the gun? When you are under pressure?

I am always highly amused at the way many of the 'tactical' trainers like to exaggerate and slow down their movements so much. Such things have their place, for sure, but not all the time.

Agree with Optimistrix ... his approach does not seem natural.

Agreed mate. I was taught eye on the target to watch if he is down, getting back up, moving etc.

When I shoot IDPA at Kraaifontein I watch my gun very closely because a tilt to far and it's a PK.

That elbow thing the guy does is strange but if that system works for him. . . . .
