You've been made!
So now I can no longer say " I've never been made while carrying concealed ", and not even because of something I did!
On Friday a female co-worker tried to poke me in the side for some reason, and nearly broke her finger when she encountered a .45 there. Now that was bad enough, but there were a few others watching, and her subtle reaction ( ), along with "No!No! Really?!" kind of gave the game away.
Luckily everyone present was cool with it and will all keep the secret. One guy even said he wanted to get himself a gun as well ;-)

Re: You've been made!
I am so in 2 minds of carrying to work due to being made and a *very* strict no guns policy. Certain of our sites have storage facilities available, but somehow I don't like to have a local minimum wage security worker know I carry :|
Good on getting the one dude converted at least

Re: You've been made!
Why should the possession legally owned guns be kept as a dark secret (other than wanting to keep it quiet in the same line of thought as all the cash or gold one owns)?
It should be no different from carrying eg ones insulin pen- it is no bodies business.Last edited by KK20; 01-12-2014 at 10:18.
live out your imagination , not your history.

Re: You've been made!
Appendix carry seems the most versatile in this regard, if she still pokes you, just shrug knowingly.

Re: You've been made!
KK20 : I agree, we should all be able to have it known that we carry without there being a fuss. One problem with that is the public perception that anyone who carries is an unstable gun nut, thanks in no small part to the media and our good friend AK.
My main problem here is that we're not allowed to carry, it's written into the contracts, and can be cause for dismissal. There are gun safes to put your weapon in, and most of the security here seem to OK, except the head of security. Oh, and he's the one who has to take you to the safe each time, so no thanks on that.

Re: You've been made!
Had a close call a few weeks back, was at my kid's first school play and one of his friend's mother came in with a unexpected one arm hug.
Almost 2 feet height difference so her hand was making a direct bee-line for my EDC, luckily my ninja reflexes kicked in and was able to squat down just in time.
