LOL I was raised in Cape Town ( Only Crooks and Cops carry was my mentality before moving to JHB) The first time I saw a civilian carrying a Gun i walked out of the shop and left my trolley with all my shopping
I was convinced that this was going to be a robbery.
When I got back to the house I told my mother all about the scary man with a huge cannon hidden under his shirt
Now I don't go 24 hours without touching a gun
Waiting for my first Pistol licence and also an Appy Gunsmith - Edenvale I tell you its in the air !

Talk about irony.

I was reading this thread earlier and even had it open on my PC when I had to go to the office printer.

A colleague walked by and grabbed my side and felt my firearm and got the shock of his life.

He asked me if I am carrying and nearly made a scene. I took him to the bathroom to diffuse the situation.

He just warned me that if others find out I could get into big trouble. I am not sure what our company policy is and I don't even want to go there.

I am so pissed off right now. What the hell is up with people who think they can get into your personal space???

Sound like you might have to polish your CV. If I were you I would stop carry for a while till the dust settle and then start again knowing big boy rules apply.

Yeah it’s like that time they told Toxxyc to stop carrying one-up.

Comply until the dust settles, and get yourself a decent appendix carry setup so that when the same thing happens there’s nothing there.
