    Close Quarter Battle Training Course

    WHAT: This course will cover team work in and around structures and vehicles. It is based on team work, communication during a violent armed encounter, shooting in close proximity of your partner, shooting on the move in pairs and in confined spaces, house clearing techniques, vehicle take down techniques, extraction drills, etc.


    WHERE: Magnum United Shooting Range, Pretoria (map attached)


    WHEN: 20, 21 & 22 February 2015

    WHO: This course is open to any Sas member who has completed a Level 2 qualification during 2014 and/or 2015 – Sas members have first option.

    If there is space available slots will be allocated to external participants that have previously attended TDI Tactical Carbine, Tactical Shotgun, CQC (Level 1 and/or 2) training and as approved by TDI.

    COST: R1800 for (2015) paid-up Sas members. (R2100 for all others)
    50% deposit secures – COURSE LIMITED TO 14 PARTICIPANTS

    REQUIRED:
    Handgun, holster and magazine pouches.
    Rifle (from .22lr to .308)
    Shotgun
    Level 1 gear including the necessary ammo carriers.
    Willingness to work hard and to learn.

    ROUND COUNT:
    600 rounds handgun
    250 rounds shotgun
    300 rounds SLR
    NOTE: These are the minimum requirements. Bring more to get more value out of the training.

    ACCOMMODATION:
    Accommodation available in Hatfield, Pretoria (25km, 20minutes from the range) at R150 per bed per night (dorm-type accommodation).

    Better rate is being negotiated.

    Optional breakfast available.

    Safe-keeping facilities will be available.

    Out of interest what is the schedule and can you miss a day? It's my birthday on the 21st and if I have to I will pull plan B, plan A is go 20 & 22.
