    Good comments Springer, but I suspect the OP may already be on his 3rd JRT, or he may have switched over to something like a Weimaraner or Rhodesian Ridgeback.

    Weimaraner would be my choice if I was looking for a specialist blood spoor dog, that could prove useful for other stuff from time to time.
