Re: Outdoor use candle/mozzie killer
Had one for years, works great, especially in the wind/breeze the candles last much longer and burn bright. Feels a bit finicky with the clips around the glass at base, but yeah many camping trips and no problem/failures. Its our main camp lighting at night -- I don't like gas as I find it too bright, I prefer the soft light of a fire/candles/lanterns for area lighting and use a headlamp where I need good light.
Reminds me I should order some more for next year as they would make cool Christmas gifts.
Only used the mozzie tabs a couple of times, didn't notice much improvement but then again neither did I with the plugged in version. Nature's Valley is just teaming with the blighters....
Oh and the Shabbat (as in Jewish) candles fit perfectly, the "normal" candles need to be trimmed down, so we pretty much buy the Shabbat candles now for any use.

Re: Outdoor use candle/mozzie killer
My brass Bushlite arrived on Friday complete with spare candles in a very neat protective case, mozzie mat holder and carry case. I am totally impressed with the build quality and the service from Annwen at Bushlite. Would definetly recommend it, not only for camping but also as backup lighting during the dark nights to come thanks to Escom.
