Not quite, we were all brought up with the notion that "people" are to rule over animals on the earth by a writer who believed the earth was flat and the centre of the universe. We are just another species on this planet and nature's rules will always apply to our species too, no matter how much we try to reason it away. Nature do not need people, people need nature.
