ADP GEN2 9MM

Hi, has anybody had any experience on adp 9mm pistols?
Any good??

A mate is selling one for R2000, stay away or buy?

Mine is a low round count. So in that context.
Mine has not giving me any trouble. I have however come across later models that needed to go back for some work involving fitting and springs.

I see they have a ext safety, can it be carried with out safety like a glock? Or is this a no go.
This one has been a safe queen too my knowledge.

I put quite a few through mine with very few problems. It is picky iro ammo - because of being a blowback design, mine didn't like low bullet weights or downloaded ammo.

Cannot be carried with the safety off - it has no internal safeties.

Spares might be a problem

There were some threads about them in late 2012 if memory serves correct. I wanted to buy one myself. General impression was diverse, some hate them, some think they are ok.

I have mine since the early 90's. it is also a Gen 2 9mm P. It has given me no problems at all. I bought it new and it must have about a 1000 shots through the barrel.

Shot with one some time ago, and no issues but that was about 5 magazines.

I have seen far too many give trouble. The only way I would buy one would be if it fitted a specific theme in a collection.
