For the Firearms association to have to ASK to be invited is humiliating.

This summit cannot be relevant without OUR input.

Lets not try give it credibility by trying to be there when the agenda and minutes have all but been written.
    No I disagree.

We have to do better than last time. The only way this will work is by making the biggest fuss ever - accuse the SAPS of writing the minutes and dishonest dealing and whatever it takes. Every Sunday we must have op-ed or letters flooding the press about being side-stepped in discussions which affect our rights, and only allowing one set of information to be peddled - i.e. everything from GFSA - AK, Van As, Lamb.

What about us? No analysis of crime stats pre- and post-gun bans?

WTF is Jordaan doing there? Yes, our captain got murdered but so did 17 000 others. He is also there with a clear agenda and in league with GFSA.

The decisions made cannot be rational if the information is one-sided and in most respects as dodgy as all heck.

We also need doctors on our side to counter Van As etc. Do we have any doctors who can help out?

This is how I explained it to a young pro-gun chappie yesterday as to how they want this to play:

    (Almal gfsa boardmembers dink ek.)

We have to make enough fuss and get everything we have - all the facts, stats etc into the press and demand to be heard. If the laws are passed they will refer to this gathering of crap and say it was rational. If they are presented with evidence that GFSA talks shyte and it is convincing, passing further gun laws may not be rational - possible constitutional challenge is opened up.

Our voices have to be heard at that conference or we have to make so much fuss they are forced to postpone it. If that takes the GS members in the Cape staging a sit-in until we are heard then so be it.
