Sorry, very late I know, but incidentally researched this yesterday.

It is law in terms of the Protected Areas Act and the regulations that all firerams must be declared at the entrance to a national park. The park official can then decide to either seal the firearm or keep it in storage until you exit (obviously has to comply with the FCA here). Failure to declare is actually an offence punishable with a max prison sentence of 5 years.

You're not gonna get full attention by changing the direction away from the title. Start a new thread and, if this hasn't discussed, you'll get any array on opinions

Didn't want to start a whole discussion on it. The question was asked, I read it amd had some info on hand, and posted it, even though much later. Whoever reads it, does, I really don't want to discuss the pros and cons of it.

Snapped a pic of this cute little guy on the Limpopo over the last weekend. It is on my friends game farm. he has about 2km of river frontage and these guys are seen quite often.

They have a tame ratel at Lory Park Zoo in Midrand which you can play with. She walks around the cafeteria area. Never thought I'd get to play with one. The sheer strength and power is amazing.
That's my dads place ;-) her name is Beatrix

We currently have Leopards, Ocelots, Cerval and Cheetahs to pet.

In the next couple of weeks some white lions and a RARE black Jaguar will be available to play with ;-)
