Thank you Kaptein, I will upload photos of the ox wagon wheels Johan Greyling made....at the end of the week I will take photos of my tent with all the accessories for the hunt...I am sure it will look good when the whole collection is on a photo...

Great looking prospectors tent GERT. I will be heading out about the 18 of april with one of my .50 cal HAWKEN B.P.rifles to hunt black bear and camp for 3 or 4 days.....miss your posts on W.D.I.L. The site closed down cheers WASATCH CHARLIE

Hallo Charlie, it really is great of you to tune in on this great forum...thank you very much, it is good to have you here ...yes this is my first tent making endeavor..please give me some tips on what I still have to add /sew onto the tent...if you will be so kind as to upload photos of your prospector tent I would be extremely glad...Charlie , do you still use a storm lantern? One that work with candles? I have build two that work with candles, I will take them to get a mirror and three pieces of glass...

Photos of my storm lantern, the wood part, tomorrow these lanterns will get their mirrors and glass...
The box in the photo is my shaving box, where I will store my "cut throat" shaving utensils...

With a layer of sanding sealer so I can white wash the wood...

Oom Gert, while you have that sewing machine out, make yourself one of these Townsend Whelan tents, they do work lekker..

I will surf the web and find the dimensions ....I really like this design..will definitely make two..one for me and one for my son when we do back pack hunting...
