Re: .223 rem. load data for my AR.
Some people are happy using S335, but in my Howa I have found funny pressure spikes. S335 is more volatile and you use less propellant. S321 gives me better results and is quite predictable. Loads with 40gr Vmax now only needs 0,1gr adjustment to achieve the node speed. Using 25.5, 26, 27 and 28gr and shooting 2 rounds per charge, I managed to group all 8 into 1,5 inches. Burn rate thus conformed with that predicted by Quick Load.

I worked out loads with . .
NOSLER VARMAGEDDON 55GR FB TIPPED AND SEIRRA MATCHKING 69GR
My Dm4 has n 20 inch barrel
ON QUICKLOAD S335 AND S321
S335 BURN RATES AN BALLISTIC EFFICIENCY IS BETER THAN S321 ?
I WORKED OUT HIGH AND LOW NODES FOR BOTH PROPPELENTS.
I WILL LOAD THEM AND SEE ON SATURDAY.
LOOKING AT WHAT QUICKLOAD SAYS . . S335 LOOKS LIKE THE BETTER PROPPELENT TO USE ?
