Meopta Meostar 4-16x44 opinion

I am looking for a scope for my new 300 win mag. Has anyone reviewed or have experience with the MEOPTA scope? It would be great to hear from other users that have used the MEOPTA brand

I've been using a Meopta Meostar R1 4-16x44 for almost two years. At the moment it is mounted on a 6.5x55 but has been on a 7x57 and a .300 win mag. Two years does not sound like much but I hunt 2-3 times a week and shoot more game animals in a year than most hunters does in a lifetime.

The scope looks as if it has been used for gardening but it has never lost zero, tracks accurately, is optically excellent, and has never let me down in any way. There are two more in service on the reserve and I can say the same about them.

The only negative thing about it is that it is big and heavy, I've learned to live with that. It is tough as nails and very reliable.

I have a Meopro 3.5-10x44. It is my favorite scope. My next scope purchase will be the same scope with an IR.
