Thanks PHD, Dux and Andycap. I'll make a plan to join.

Fortunately I already have all three weapons. My AR is still vanilla though. Need to get some optics on it, but at this stage can't justify those I want (read NEED) at almost the same price as the rifle. I'll revisit my old thread on optics and have a re-look at the suggested alternatives.

Come shoot with open sights.....shoot on the 20th with everything as it is.

Have a look at the other guys kit etc, get an idea of what works.....

Maybe we get lucky and dont have plates at 100m....one can only hope....

Agreed with Andy, Keith, in my detail, was using a few (that's another story) R1's with open sights. Just come

Mmm, you realise she is going to kick my backside! I am useless with a shotgun...
On riot duty I always ditched the shotgun and carried a stopper with my R4.

I've only ever done two fire-arm courses and one 3GN shoot before participating in the 3GN Nationals. I'm being honest when I say I was very nervous. However, I was lucky enough to be in a detail with a great group of guys including my long suffering assistant, Jaco Hough

My aim was not to get DQ'd. To finish the two day event in one piece and hopefully to just show a general improvement in everything.

Well at least I made it through the two days and for that I also want to thank the guys in my detail. You know who you are. Thank you.

Thank you to the sponsors and the organizers. The stages were awesome!

    Took this home with me:

Special thanks to Keith Biermann and Marc Schatz for this:

and, thanks Camo for my patch with special powers. It kept my belt up with pride

Looking forward to the next shoot alongside hubby.
