Glock Goblin, you @#$! I have forgotten about my chrono. I would have uttered some tasty words if I needed it! Lucky for you I'm out of action and will not shooting for the next 6 weeks. Enjoy your pin shoot. I'll be at Huntex on Friday Afternoon selling Win Guns tickets at stand 519C.

    I use .357 Mag cases.

You be surprised how well 125g lead flat noses work in pins if you get them up to about 1600fps.

They probably work well both sides of the gun!

    Sounds like a plan.
Unfortunate that the shoot got rained out as I was really looking forward to it!

    Hi Yeti
As an IPSC shooter I've never exceeded 180 PF. I see that in a .38 case the power factor is over 245. Is this a common PF for pin shooters?
I have a Taurus 66CP, 4" with the ported barrel.
    Thanks

I haven't shot pins for the last 15 years, but Ive kept all my reloading data

Cant tell you what is common and what is not

When the pins get old and saturated with the weight of stuck bullets, they can become quite stubborn.
