Norinco AK Type 56 or Norinco CQA

Yeah I doubt anyone approving SLR licenses would have any doubt as to what the Type 56 actually looks like and if it makes a lick of difference.

Well I just followed advice that was given to me and and it worked it is in fact a Norinco type 56 is it not? Why should I go back to 2006?

It was the tale back in the day that CFR would not approve AK's because they were AK's and they also didnt want to approve 7.62x39 guns.

Advice from a friend that is suddenly turned into gospel...

And yes, I own an Ak variant in 7.62x39 in case you ask

For intrest on your app did you name your gun and AK47 or a Norinco type 56?

Saiga M3 7.62x39

With a big picture of the gun and a long paragraph on why 7.62x39 is a good calibre

Im glad that it all worked out seems like my friends advice was unnecessary after all. It worked for me doing it in that way aw well so sorry for the silly advice then ouens!

Another thing I forgot to add, remember that the AKs were about R13k, so it's only a certain amount of time before it goes back up again. Love the threaded barrel - add a suppressor, a side fitting scope rail and a single round magazine and you have a decent hunting rifle...
