    Default New Additions :)

    Hi Guys,
Just added another two members to my growing family: a Spyderco Stretch and a second Spyderco Endura 4 - Awesome tactical folding knives!

Reviews on both to follow soon :)

Be Safe and enjoy the rest of the weekend

    Kind regards,

    Hi Robert

    Don't delay - post pics!!!

I just picked up a Zero Tolerance 0350. It has two features I don't like: assisted opening (I don't see the need for it - its just a mechanical knick-knack that can get fouled), and a liner lock. But it has plenty more going for it: the liner lock is actually quite thick and locks up very tightly (see pic), it has a nice deep blade with a lazy recurve and made of premium S30V steel, and the whole package feels bullet-proof. The fit and finish is excellent. And all for a very competitive price - much cheaper by far than a comparable Emmerson.

The ZT, like all ZTs, is a bit on the chunky side, but I am of a good mind to make this my EDC non the less. I don't EDC a folder at work, but for casual clothes (jeans/cargo pants) the ZT 0350 definitely isn't too big or heavy.

    Hi,

Not my first choice either, but it still saved me 2 days ago when a dumb fool asked me to empty my pockets and out came the knife.

the Spyderco Stretch is simply the best all round EDC folder from Spyderco bar none...I have 2 in the ZDP189 steel...need to let one go me thinks!

    Hi Mussolini,
Have to agree with you, the Spyderco Stretch is an Awesome lightweight EDC folder. The one that I have is in VG-10 steel (and not the ZDP189 derivative).

Maybe not the most functional folder for guys with large hands, I have found it to be perfect for my defensive carry purposes. I have also found that a strip of skate-board tape on the clip really helps enhance ones access and deployment of the said folder :)

I will be putting together a review and my thoughts on this blade and posting it to my web site in due course ...

BE Safe guys and have a great public holiday tomorrow

    Kind regards,

    Hi Ciappa :-)

Can you please elaborate on the purpose of the skate-board tape on the clip?

    Hey Mr 47 :)
Just for the sake of being thorough, I have found that by adding some skateboard tape to the outside of the clip it allows for much greater traction and ease of access for the middle/index/ring finger-tips. This is especially valid when you are tasked with accessing your blade whilst grappling (standing or on the ground), sitting in the seat of you car, cross-drawing etc.

    Hope this explanation helps

    Regards to Mrs 47 please

    Thanks Ciappa

    (Doh! to myself.....) :-)

Do you think it will only be necessary for smooth handled folders, or all types?

    Regards given,

Here's to your better halve as well!

    Best regards,
