    This is probably one of the reasons they want us in partnership to try an make a difference. They know that stemming the flow is going to be darn near impossible, and it is probably immensely embarrassing for the SAPS to have this issue in the public eye nearly permanently.

    On News24 today
    More than 700 firearms belonging to the SA Police Service were either stolen or went missing in the past year, Police Minister Nathi Nhleko has revealed.

    We have a firearm inspection every Monday, firearm and rounds count.

    Yip I might agree with you on that, we don't carry every day, only certain jobs, don't have a office so we meet in random parks and quiet places on Monday mornings. Strange set up, but in 15 years my unit has never lost a firearm or a single round.

    This is because you all take responsibility for your equipment and know it is there to protect your live not to be traded for an case of Black label.
