WTF?
I vote this thread be banned.
Unacceptable content.
You bastard.Prone to random kindness, lecherous behaviour, imitating D-cups at speed and an outstanding sense of humour. If you don't agree, well fuck you.

Re: Goat recipes please
nkosi ... I've shot and eaten heaps of goat ... In fact I was supposed to climb a hill and shoot a few for a family member this coming weekend, but alas I'm busy with my beloved nieces ...
Anyway ... I digress ...
Good eating meat if you stick to the females and young males. If the horns are more than 12" wide, let him go ... after that they just stink ... although they would make great dog tukker if you have to shoot them.
I have to be honest I'm not to fancy on the cooking side of things ... Mince, sausages and curry. Easy as. Mince and sausage you'll want to blend with a bit of fatty mutton or lamb, but for curry, I just lob the goat in the slow cooker for a few hours with one of those slow cook curry sauces and hey presto.
And out of interest, I invited about 10 or 12 guys over for a boys dinner a while back ... I had a nice hot goat curry on offer and a red wine and mushroom deer stew ... the goat curry got hammered by the boys and I landed up taking over half of the deer stew home ... go figure.

Re: Goat recipes please
I worked in kenya for nearly 2 years and got my over fair share of goat meat. The best way cooked was spiced with salt n pepper, wrapped in foil and left in the fire for 30 min. Maybe it was just the Tuskers that made it taste good...

Re: Goat recipes please
My favorite curry is a goat curry and this coming from someone that eats curry at least 5 days a week. Treat the meat exactly the same way you would treat mutton. Be generous with your masala mix (spices) you wont be disappointed.
I have eaten old Kalahari, boer & Zulu rams and actually prefer the older rams in a curry. Best cooked on a wood fire.
