Default Tested our new canvas tent this weekend

We went out this weekend to test our new Kodiak canvas tent

Awesome tent - stood up to a mean thunderstorm with High wind (65km/h) and hail - never moved an inch

No tent is bear proof, that's why we always camp with a dog and a 9.3x62. We also lock all food stuff up in the bakie at night and burn all the garbage - we try and be safe as best we can.

Still a bit early for the springs yet, although there are a few swimming up the Fraser river, summer is upon us so it's time to break out the fly rods, warm up the braai and camp as much as we can.

I was joking about the bears :) I've been out to the Queen Charlottes to pull up those nice fat spring salmon. If anyone is into fishing, that is rather special. Enjoy.
